ELIMIKA PROJECT

Education empowers girls and young women by providing them with the knowledge and skills needed to make informed decisions about their lives. It helps them develop confidence and a sense of agency. Educated girls and young women contribute significantly to the economy. They tend to earn higher incomes, which can lift entire families out of poverty and stimulate economic growth in their communities.

The Elimika Project is aimed at
 supporting girls and young women from vulnerable families to access quality secondary school education in Kenya.

To increase school enrolment, retention and transition rates among girls and young women, the organization provides scholarships, dignity kits and learning materials.

IGNITING BODABODA PROJECT

The Igniting BodaBoda Giving Project seeks to support girls' access to quality secodnary education through local catalytic giving among motorcycle riders. The project aims at meaninfully engaging motorcycle riders who perpetrate teenage pregnancy among girls and young women.

Through this project, motorcyle riders donate tuition fees, leanring & reading materials,. school uniforms, dignity kits and food essentails to girls and young women to go back to school.  As change makers, motorcycle riders are now the watchdogs to prevent teenage pregnancy and offers counselling support to survivors of sexual abuse.

RIGHT TO EDUCATION

The Right to Education Project seeks to reduce gender and social barriers to the utilization and uptake of education and other sustainable development services in Kenya. Safe Community Youth Initiative provide Gender-responsive professional development to primary school educators and pedagogical leaders, offer Value Based Education (VBE) course  to primary school teachers, school leadership and deliver gender-responsive play-based learning module to primary school teachers. In a complex world with many ethical dilemmas, value-based education helps teachers and learners develop a strong moral compass to navigate difficult choices.

YISA

Youth in Sustainable Aquaculture (YISA) is a transformative project aimed at empowering young women and men to actively participate and excel in the aquaculture value chain. By providing the necessary skills, resources, and knowledge, YISA helps youth increase their production capacities while fostering innovation, sustainability and economic growth within communities. The aquaculture sector holds immense potential for addressing food security, creating jobs, and promoting environmental stewardship. YISA bridges this gap by offering comprehensive support to youth who aspire to succeed in sustainable aquaculture
